High speed, ultra precision ball bearings require low-friction bearing ball retainers with a bonded PTFE coating that must pass a 100% microscope inspection. Orion's staff has developed production techniques and devices to produce precision PTFE coated ball bearing retainers in lot sizes of more than 10,000 with a reject rate of less than .07%. Orion's history as a PTFE coatings/applicator allows us to ramp up to production rates quickly with extremely low reject rates.
