Automotive warranties lengthened forcing manufacturers to rely on suppliers to develop warranty-extending technology. Orion did just that. We developed PTFE sealing coatings to prevent water pumps from leaking, causing manufacturers warranty expenses. Since 1977, Orion has applied these Orion formulated conformal PTFE sealant coatings to more than 700,000,000 water pump cartridge seal housings with automated, in house manufactured application machinery.
