Plating racks and fixtures are an essential tool for finishing many different types and sizes of parts. The proper coating on the rack can make it more useful and extend its service life. Racks can be made smooth and contamination free with a bonded fluoropolymer film of PFA, Tefzel® ETFE, Halar® ECTFE, or a specialized coating formulation. These chemical and corrosion resistant coatings for plating racks can be between .002" to .025' thick depending on the end use of the rack or fixture. Orion can also repair stainless racks prior to applying industrial coatings.
