Our coating processes use Whitford Xylan® coatings, PEEK coatings, Emralon® coatings, Molykote® coatings, PlastiGlideTM, ZincGlideTM and dry film lubricants to increase the value of automotive parts, Teflon® medical components, consumer goods, and Teflon® coated glass products and many other products by creating functional surfaces that eliminate problems. Orion Industries is one of the countries largest Teflon® coating applicators, is ISO 9000:2001 registered, licensed applicator of Teflon®. Orion applies Halar®, FEP coatings, PFA, ETFE, fluoropolymer coatings, and more than 500 other proven functional coatings. Orion's FluoroBond® LSR, low friction coating for silicone, is designed to reduce the coefficient of friction (COF) of molded silicone rubber. The FluoroBond® LSR silicone coated silicone is a chemical bond and not a physical bond like parylene thus more robust.
