Momentive Performance Materials liquid silicone rubber (LSR) top coat is a two-component liquid silicone material that forms a colourless matt surface finish. It can be applied using standard coating processes to silicone elastomer substrates to provide reduced surface friction. It is particularly suitable for health-care applications because it provides potential biocompatibility, good adhesion to silicone elastomer substrates and it is sterilisable.
