Orion has also formulated our FluoroBond® LSR, low friction coating for silicone, is designed to reduce the coefficient of friction (COF) of molded silicone rubber. The FluoroBond® LSR silicone coated rubber is a chemical bond and not a physical bond like Parylene thus more robust. Issues such as friction, sticking, corrosion, noise, abrasion, and FDA compliance are easily resolved with Orion's expert engineers and innovative coating techniques. FluroroBond® LSR designed specifically "to make silicone slippery". Orion can make any of our coatings anti microbial with our FluoroPlate® Anti Microbial designed for consumer & FDA applications and our FluoroMed® Anti Microbial designed specifically for medical applications. Both FluoroPlate® and FluoroMed® are biocompatible coatings.
