Teflon® coated wire products, from semiconductor racks to French fry baskets, have been coated for decades by Orion's staff. We have high voltage electrostatic spray equipment, in both liquid and powder versions, that is used to completely cover any type of wire product with a uniform thickness of the designated coating, whether it is a Teflon® coating on wire or one of a wide variety of functional coatings. .

The cleaning and preparation of wire is accomplished by barrel aluminum oxide and Wheelabrader type impingement cleaning machines, prior to coating application. These mass type-finishing machines are very efficient and result in a uniform and consistent surface preparation. This step, and the in-house machinery, is the foundation for a properly bonded coating.

Overhead conveyor, high temperature ovens Orion has built, convey the wire parts thru the coating and oven curing steps to deliver to your customer a completely coated wire product with non-stick and other desirable properties. We Teflon® coat wire products along with several liquid and powder coatings.

We have eliminated chrome and other plating on many consumer and industrial products like pizza cooking grids, fast food French fry baskets, vertical chicken and turkey roasters and many consumer and industrial products. The benefits of a non-stick, easy clean and corrosion resistance results in a satisfied consumer, with the additional benefit of compliance with the worldwide "green" product initiative. Orion has many liquid and powder coatings in stock that eliminate conventional plating.
